Sid the Science Kid Weather: A Review
"Rain clouds are full of water vapor when it rains... precipitation is rain, snow and hail"
This is what my 3 year old told me the other day when it started to rain.
WHAT? I thought....WOW! Where in the world does she get this stuff from?
"Sid is his name, exploring is his game"
Rain!!! It just might ruin Sid's play date after school in his tree fort! But he learns about rain, and finds out how important it really is. Sid and his preschool pals learn all kinds of things about weather patterns and how they effect our world.
Sid studies the sun in the second episode, learns about sunscreen, and even does an experiment with it.
And last, Sid and his family are leaving the warmth and going to visit relatives that live where it snows! Sid decides they should learn about snow too, discovering that the rain, sun and snow are all apart of our world and are super fascinating!
I have to say that this video is for the younger crowd. Unlike the last review, my older two thought this was really cheesy. But, my 3 year old LOVED it.
