I vote for the popsicle.

So here are the facts here in my house on this rainy morning: You can go off to the other room to release your creative inner self  letting your 2 year old draw on herself with an orange popsicle; or you can have a clean 2 year old. I vote for the popsicle.

And here: the fruits that orange popsicle just bought me.
I will apologize once again for the quality of my picture....by now you must know the drill.

TOUGH

Tough. Phew.  So many things come to mind when I see this word with this photo.  It was sure tough seeing you come home all bruised up from paintball today.  I know you're a tough guy.  I know you had a BLAST.  So it was tough for mom to encourage you to go back and do it again. And soon.  I know it is tough on you trying to please everyone.  It is tough always being nice to your sister.  It is tough to always try your best to do the right thing.  But you are tough enough to do that too.  It is tough to see you grow up so fast and even tougher to have the trust to let you go off into the world.  But I love you.  I know you can.  And I am so proud of you.  You don't always have to be so TOUGH.  Remember that too.

playing again...

Time to get back to playing again....a simple page to get me rocking.
Did I tell you that I just LOVE this picture!!!???
(And no, the camera phone just won't give you the crisp pages you've seen on here.  But I've gotta "just keep swimming.")

WHY are you FOLLOWING me???

Okay enough with the pouting.  My camera and trusty side kick died several months ago. Being the perfectionist I am, I have  refused to buy just any replacement. I have been saving and saving. Maybe someday I'll get that Nikon my heart longs for???   Well, fine. I will admit it.  I have been in a funk. I gave up on my 365.  I stopped blogging. Well, because... what IS a blog about playing if I don't have the beautiful photos to PLAY with?

I have completely lost a part of myself.
Today I said: suck it up.
Use your camera phone.
Catch what you can.
Create whatever comes with it.
Perfection is not necessary.
Capturing your life is!
AND just look at this little gift I was given.
