Ok  It is hanging up on her wall and she loves it.

And when she outgrows it, I can make her something else for the frame.

Don't you just L.O.V.E. it when something you like just catches your eye?

AND even better when it's something REALLY SUPER easy to try to re-create yourself?

That's what happened to me about a month ago.  I was doing my usual blog rounds and came across an Ali Edwards post for her new baby girl's room.  I really liked the simple print with her baby's name and alphabet.  So here is a sneek peak at what I recreated....

I will post the framed result hanging in my 2 year olds room later this week.

We are back to rain, rain, rain here.

But we had 3 glorious days.. After that, I think I can honestly say....if life gets you down, just go to the park!

She got this book from Grandma Carla just on Friday.  She loves it.  And I {L.O.V.E.} how she says chameleon! 

I overheard her reciting the pages almost perfectly from memory, reading to her Moose.

if April showers bring May Flowers...

Then, we better get A LOT!!!

Frog Nephew

Been looking at some recent challenges out in the scrap world.

Was too late for the challenge but had fun with this sketch anyway.  

Thought it was perfect for these adorable pictures I've been holding onto of my nephew!

Whatcha think'n about?

It has been an extremely uneventful Spring break here.  I have photos ranging from us playing "Go Fish" while it rained slushily outside to a trip to Costco in the snow.  Yes. Snow.

It has finally been pretty the last two days to play outside.

That is why these pictures made me laugh.  I had been distracted with the older kids out on the deck, and came in to find my little Einstein deep in thought.

"Do you want to go out and play with the kids?"  I thought a for sure yes....

"no, I not.  Not now thank you."  She whispered back.

She really must be deep in thought.  If only I had a penny.

what inspires me

A budding flower.

A song.

A quote that reaches me.

A child.

An old truck.

An old building.

Laughter.

Tears.

A photograph.

Paper.

A gorgeous day.

A kind word.

Inner Strength.

AND my paints hardly ever fail me.
